The National Christian Homeschool Basketball Championship was founded in 1991,
the first tournament was played in March of 1992 in San Antonio, Texas. During
the first nine years Jim Leininger, Don Miller and Alan Day each running the
tournament for 3 years in 2000 Tim Flatt was selected to run the tournament. In
2004 he was joined by his son Rob and in 2008 Kurt Talbott joined the Nationals
team. The National Basketball Tournament has been held in San Antonio, Sante Fe
New Mexico, Estes Park Colorado, Oklahoma City and Sprignfield Missouri.
